It’s always a great experience shopping at the Lindt Chocolate shops in Kittery and Stratham and, I rate this one at 5.0. I’d purchased a couple of those In Stratham awhile ago and enjoyed them. I was tempted to get some chocolate umbrellas. Near the front window was a display of one super-sized and two large chocolate rabbits. I noticed that most of the Easter candy was in stock throughout the store – lots of different sizes of chocolate rabbits and eggs. In the Confectionery World, little irregularly-shaped pieces of chocolate are added. I was surprised to see the name Stacciatella as it’s the name of an Italian soup with mixed egg whisked into hot chicken broth, creating little irregularly-shaped pieces of egg, turning them into “little rags” which is what stracciatella means. I saw that the Lindt master chocolatiers had created some new flavors: Matcha and Stacciatella. With the Maine Tax, of 42 cents, the total was $7.99. I got an assortment that was mostly Lindor Double Chocolate, Lindor Extra Dark 70% Cacao, and Lindor Chocolate, plus one each of the Lindor Almond, Lindor Cappuccino, Lindor Strawberries & Cream, and Lindor Milk Chocolate just to try some different varieties. On entering the store, I came upon seemingly-endless bins of the Lindor Truffles ~ always a welcome sight to me. I really like the chocolate shell that surrounds the smooth-textured filling inside. While shopping the outlets in Kittery, I stopped by Lindt Chocolate to replenish my supply of Lindt Lindor Truffles, my guilty pleasure.
